Bapatla SP urges SB officers to proactively monitor anti-social activities

Vijayawada: Bapatla Superintendent of Police (SP) Tushar Dudi has stressed the importance of proactively gathering information to prevent anti-social activities in the district. During a meeting withSpecial Branch (SB) personnel, Dudi highlighted the role of the SB wing in crime prevention through timely information.

He instructed SB officers to regularly engage with the public and report any intelligence related to potential law and order issues, including the sale of illegal substances, cockfights, and gambling. The SP emphasised the need for diligence and warned of consequences for failing to collect critical information.
Dudi also noted that the department is closely monitoring drug-related activities and urged citizens to assist by reporting such incidents to emergency numbers 100/112. SB in-charge CI Bala Murali Krishna and other officers attended the meeting.
