Boy Dies After Falling Into Open Tap Hole in Nandyal

 Kurnool: A five-year-old boy died after falling into a tap hole at Chandaluru village, Rudravaram mandal, Nandyal district, on Wednesday. According to police reports, Gautham, the son of Subbaiah and Maheshwari, accidentally fell into a hole dug for a public water tap while playing in the area. By the time his family members noticed, he was already dead. The family has alleged that Gautham's death was due to the negligence of panchayat officials, who failed to fill in the hole. Rudravaram police have registered a case and are currently investigating the incident.
