Boy missing during Ganesh immersion found dead

Lal Basha, a 12-year-old boy who went missing during the Ganesh immersion in the Telugu Ganga canal at Ahobilam in Allagadda on Monday, was found dead on Tuesday. While locals rescued three of his friends, Lal Basha's body was discovered by a team of expert swimmers following an 18-hour search. Guided by Allagadda Tahsildar Jyoti Ratnakumari and Rural sub-inspector Hariprasad, the search team located the boy's body trapped among bushes.
