Case registered against Sri Reddy in Vizag
Visakhapatnam: A case has been registered against actress and YSRC party supporter Sri Reddy for making abusive and vulgar comments targeting the families of TD leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu, TDP leaders, and Pawan Kalyan's family members.
The case was filed by TD women activists at the Two-Town Police Station in Visakhapatnam on Thursday. Additional cases are also being registered by various party leaders against Sri Reddy for her inflammatory remarks.
In response, Sri Reddy has written open letters apologizing to Nara Lokesh and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. In the letters, she acknowledges having failed in both her film career and political aspirations.
"I have already apologized to your party, activists, Jana Sena heroic women and their family members. I have spoken very harshly many times. That's why I am apologizing once again," Sri Reddy wrote to Nara Lokesh.
She further stated that even if YSRCP comes to power in the future, her "mind will not change," and she has sworn to not use vulgar language against anyone. She cited the crisis her family is facing, including the need to marry off her children as reasons for seeking forgiveness.
In a separate letter to YS Jagan, Sri Reddy expressed regret for having brought "bad name" to YSRCP with her comments, acknowledging the damage it has caused to the party. She said she missed the chance to even take a photo with Jagan and Bharati.
