Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed his displeasure with Koduru SI Sirisha for her harsh behaviour towards agitating female students at Gudlavalleru Engineering College. He stated that it was inappropriate to act in such a manner, especially when the students were already distressed. The Chief Minister emphasised that officers should conduct themselves in a way that instils confidence in the students.

A video clip showing SI Sirisha’s interaction with the female students during their protest over the spy camera incident at the engineering college was brought to the CM’s attention.

It is worth mentioning that the CM is regularly reviewing the progress of the inquiry into the spy camera incident at the engineering college with the Krishna District Collector and SP.

CI Ramanamma has been appointed as the investigation officer for the case, and several female police officers were assigned to bandobust duty during the CM’s visit to flood-affected areas in the city.

The CM has sought an explanation from the police officers regarding Sirisha’s harsh behaviour towards the female students.

However, the officials informed the CM that Sirisha, along with other female police officers, had been called for bandobust duty. Subsequently, the police officers removed her from the CM’s bandobust duty.
