VIJAYAWADA: YSRC continuing to use the government-provided furniture in its party office has turned controversial with Telugu Desam and allied parties raised objections.

With criticism of YSRC, now in opposition, mounting, party MLC Lella Appi Reddy pointed out that YSRC has already written to the state government expressing its willingness to pay the amount for the furniture.

“We are waiting for the government’s reply,” Appi Reddy stated.

It may be recalled that Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy used one building for his house and another building for the YSRC office when in opposition. Later, he changed the party office into the CM Camp Office and used if for five years. Having lost the election, Jagan Mohan Reddy is using the camp office as the YSRC party office now.

The YSRC MLC said the Telugu Desam Party has made it a habit to attack Jagan Mohan Reddy personally. “We strongly condemn the accusations made by shameless politicians.

He underlined that after the change in government, a list of the items in the camp office has already been submitted to authorities. They have also been informed that the YSRC party is willing to pay the amount for the furniture provided by the government in the then CM Camp Office.

Appi Reddy said while the process is still going on and YSRC is waiting for the response from the government, TD ministers and social media of that party are targeting Jagan by unleashing negative propaganda of using the government’s furniture.

The YSRC MLC reiterated that they will pay the requisite amount to the government for the furniture once they are informed about it.
