Daaku Maharaj Pre-Release Event Cancelled

Kurnool: In the aftermath of the stampede in Tirupati that claimed six lives, the pre-release event of the film Daaku Maharaj has been cancelled. Anantapur MLA Daggubati Prasad made the announcement on Thursday in coordination with fan groups.

Expressing grief over the tragic loss of lives, the MLA stated that the event was called off following the advice of actor and Hindupur MLA N. Balakrishna. He assured fans that an event would be organised after the movie’s release. Prasad also urged fans travelling from distant places to take note of the cancellation and adjust their plans accordingly.

NBK Helping Hands founder Jagan said the decision to cancel the event was jointly taken by Balakrishna and minister N. Lokesh, as a mark of respect for the victims of the Tirupati tragedy.

“Balakrishna took this decision to show solidarity with the grieving families,” Jagan said.
