Darshan at Lower Ahobilam restricted till July 7
Kurnool: Ahobilam Temple chief priest Kidambi Venugopalacharyulu announced that no darshan will be allowed at Diguva Ahobilam from June 16 to July 7 due renovation activities being taken up at the premises.
Authorities are renovating Prahladavarada Swamivari Sannidhi, Amritavalli Ammavari Sannidhi and other sub-temples at Diguva Ahobilam ahead of the Sri Ahobila Math Maha Samprokshana ritual scheduled from July 3 to July 7.
As part of this, Balalaya Pratishtha programmes will be organised on June 14, June 15 and June 16.
Starting June 16, the Prahladavarada Utsavamurthy, along with Ammavaru, will be kept at the Addala Mandapam for the darshan of devotees, said chief priest Venugopalacharyulu. From this date, the Moolavirat darshan will be halted.
Seeking cooperation from devotees, the chief priest said darshan of Moolavirat will be allowed after the Maha Kumbhabhishekam on July 7.
