Kurnool: Nandyal district collector G. Raja Kumari has emphasised the importance of adhering to safety and security standards across all factories and industries in the district, highlighting the need to prioritise the protection of employees and workers. During a meeting with factory and industry heads on Tuesday, she instructed the Deputy Inspector of Factories to conduct a prompt internal safety audit of all facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Additionally, she directed Pollution Control Board officials to ensure that 33 per cent of the area is maintained as greenery.

District superintendent of police Adhiraj Singh Rana called for a special drive to review safety standards and enforce compliance with legal requirements. Deputy inspector of factories Narayana Reddy, Deputy inspector of boilers Y. Srinivasa Reddy, fire officer G. Balaraju, and other officials were present.
