Kurnool: Srisailam Temple executive officer D. Peddiraju on Thursday announced that additional queue lines are being formed to accommodate the influx of devotees in view of summer vacations nearing their end.

The new queue lines will come up in the vacant space next to the free queue line, where the canteen building had been previously located. The additional que lines will be linked to the existing Sarvadarshan queue lines, allowing devotees to gain convenient access to the temple during peak hours.

This will ensure that despite the rush, devotees will be able to seek blessings of Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy and Bhramaramba Ammavaru more comfortably. Fresh water, breakfast, and other facilities will be available to devotees waiting in the queue lines.

Peddiraju asked security and engineering officials of the devasthanam to evolve effective strategies to regulate vehicular traffic in the Srisailam town area, particularly at critical intersections, such as Vaidyashala, fuse call office, and Yadava Satram.

There will be barricading wherever necessary to ensure pedestrian safety on the roads.
