Fee irregularities: Parvathipuram Manyam collector warns colleges of action
The collector announced that the government would directly deposit the full "fee reimbursement" amount into colleges’ accounts to streamline the process and ease students’ burdens
Visakhapatnam: Parvathipuram Manyam district collector A. Shyam Prasad took a firm stance on Sunday against college managements and principals causing difficulties for students over fee-related issues. Addressing concerns of students in junior, degree, PG, polytechnic, and ITI colleges, he emphasised that institutions engaging in such practices would face strict consequences, including cancellation of affiliation.
The collector announced that the government would directly deposit the full "fee reimbursement" amount into colleges’ accounts to streamline the process and ease students’ burdens. He warned against denying students access to classes, examination fees, hall tickets, or participation in exams, stating such actions would not be tolerated.
Shyam Prasad underscored the need for cooperation to safeguard students’ futures, vowing strict action against violators.
