Tirupati: The verification of free-hold land registrations in Andhra Pradesh is nearing completion, with minister for revenue, registration and stamps Anagani Satya Prasad, announcing strict actions against unauthorized acquisitions. The final report detailing irregularities identified over the past five years will be submitted to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu by November 15.

During a review meeting at the Tirupati Collectorate, Minister Satya Prasad disclosed that investigations have revealed numerous discrepancies, particularly in Tirupati district, which has been managed by seven deputy collectors. He assured the public of the government's commitment to addressing land registration irregularities, stating that those responsible will face consequences.
