VIJAYAWADA: A large crowd gathered at the Telugu Desam central office in Mangalagiri to voice their grievances. Many visitors claimed that, during the last five years under the YSRC government, they faced illegal charges and physical attacks for questioning government actions.

State water resources minister Nimmala Ramanaidu, MLC Duvarapu Rama Rao, and TNSF president Pranav Gopal received the complaints. Most of the petitions were directed against alleged irregularities by YSRC leaders. TD workers, who experienced hardships under the previous administration, expressed their concerns to the minister, who assured them that their issues would be addressed through the relevant departments.
Among the complaints was one from TD supporter Dhanarajupalli Kotayya, who reported that his three-acre plot in Yadlapalli village, Palnadu district, was purchased by Gopinath, a relative of former minister Vidadala Rajani, for `25 lakh. Kotayya alleged that he is yet to receive the payment. Vadde Pawan Kumar's family from Dagadarthi village, Kavali Constituency, Nellore District, reported harassment by YSRC leaders through illegal cases. Vijaya Nirmala and Mary, from Ramapuram village in Bollapally mandal, Palnadu district, sought protection after YSRC activists Potlapati Haribabu, Kothapalli Mosebu and Gangadevara Venkateswarlu allegedly trespassed on land they have cultivated for 40 years.
