HC Strikes Off Cheque Bounce Case Against Anitha

 Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh High Court has dismissed a cheque bounce case filed against home minister Vangalapudi Anitha, which was earlier booked in a city court in Visakhapatnam, on Tuesday.

Both home minister Anitha and the petitioner, Vegi Srinivasa Rao, appeared before the High Court via video conference. The petitioner’s counsel, V.V. Satish, informed the court that the parties involved had agreed to resolve the issue through compromise and submitted a memo detailing the terms of the agreement.

The court inquired whether both parties intended to settle the case amicably, to which they both confirmed. Following this, the court announced that the cheque bounce case pending in the city court had been struck off.
