ISKCON Vijayawada Launches Janmashtami Fete

 Vijayawada: Celebrations of Sri Krishna Janmashtami commenced at ISKCON's Sri Sri Jagannath Mandir in Vijayawada with a range of cultural programmes. The highlight of the event was the Maha Pushpabhishekam. The breathtaking ceremony involved offering of 2,000 kg of flowers, creating a mesmerizing sight and an atmosphere filled with melodious kirtans and captivating dances.

The replica of Vrindavan Dham where the lord performed his childhood pastimes, recreated on the ISKCON premises, performed the Unjyal seva and the sight of this event mesmerised the visitors.

Temple president HG Chakradhari Das delivered a discourse that captured the audience's attention and touched their hearts. They offered Bhoga with more than 108 items, performed Maha Aarati, and distributed Anna Prasadam to thousands of devotees who attended the grand celebration.
