Jagan asks YSRC cadre to be fearless and fight the wrong policies of state government
Referring to his successful implementation of welfare schemes across the state, Jagan Reddy said a majority of the people still backed his party
ANANTAPUR: YSRC chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has called on party leaders to fight against the state government over its multiple lapses and policies that are “apathetic” to the people.
The former chief minister was on a three-day visit of Pulivendula in Kadapa district and interacted with the leaders and party cadres at his camp office in Bhaskarapuram in Pulivendula town on Sunday.
He observed that his government did was pro-poor during its five-year term. “Every ordinary family in the state benefited from the welfare schemes and they all are with us,” he hoped. YSRC cadres need not fear and the party will stand by every party worker, he asserted.
Referring to his successful implementation of welfare schemes across the state, Jagan Reddy said a majority of the people still backed his party.
Party sources said Jagan Reddy will reach Idupulapaya on Monday morning and pay tributes to his father YS Rajasekhar Reddy at the ghat there marking the former CM’s death anniversary. After attending prayers, Jagan Reddy will go to Tadepalli by helicopter.
APCC chief YS Sharmila is also scheduled to offer prayers at the YS Rajasekhar Reddy ghat in Idupulapaya on Monday around 8am. She would reach there after her brother leaves for Tadepalli around 7.30 am.
