Kakinada MLA Faces Backlash Over Port Issues
Kakinada:Former YSRC MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara Reddy has challenged the current TD MLA, Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao, to face legal battles over allegations of political vengeance.
In an open letter, Reddy denied involvement in rice trading and accused the NDA government of targeting him with false charges.
Reddy expressed concern over the decline of Kakinada Port, a vital economic hub. He criticised the government's policies that have led to job losses and reduced port activity. Reddy also highlighted issues faced by the fishing community, including the lack of compensation for ONGC dredging and the disappearance of sand stocks at Uppal Lanka.
The former MLA demanded transparency from the current MLA regarding allegations of land grabbing and corruption. Reddy pledged to expose these issues within six months.
