Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu distributes 630 appointment letters at Rozgar Mela

Visakhapatnam: Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu here on Monday handed over appointment letters to 630 individuals across various central government departments.
This was as part of the 14th edition of the 'Rozgar Mela' here, which was part of PM Modi’s nation-wide initiative.
The Prime Minister had distributed over 71,000 appointment letters to new recruits through video conferencing from multiple locations across India.
Ram Mohan Naidu, during his speech, emphasized the significance of government jobs for middle-class families, acknowledging their hard work and dedication in securing these positions. “The 'Rozgar Mela' has successfully provided employment to approximately 779,000 people since its inception, underlining the government's commitment to employment generation as a top priority,” he stated.
"A sense of joy spreads when a job is given," he stated, reflecting on the positive impact of these appointments on the lives of individuals and their families.
The minister also discussed the ongoing developmental projects in north Andhra, including the establishment of a new railway zone and the construction of Bhogapuram Airport, which is expected to be completed by June 2026.
He noted that once operational, the airport would transform the region into an economic hub. Additionally, he spoke of plans to improve connectivity between the airport and highways.
The central minister pointed out that more than 40 per cent of the new appointees were from Srikakulam and Vizianagaram, indicating progress among the backward classes (BCs) in the region. He expressed pride in the readiness of young people from north-Andhra to serve their country and contribute to national defence.
He encouraged collaboration between the government and industry leaders to further drive economic growth in the region.
