PM's Vizag Visit a Historic Event: Lokesh

Visakhapatnam: Minister for IT and education Nara Lokesh has hailed Prime Minister Modi's upcoming visit to Visakhapatnam on January 8 as a historic occasion. He urged public representatives from three districts to focus on ensuring the event's success. All efforts must be made to make the Vizag event equally impactful," Lokesh stated.

A meeting with ministers, MLAs, and officials, including Chief Minister N. Chandrababu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, addressed logistical arrangements for the public meeting, roadshow, transportation, and parking. Lokesh thanked the Central government for prioritising Andhra Pradesh with increased funds and projects and urged PM Modi to continue such developmental support.

The roadshow will begin at Venkatadri Vantillu and end at AU Engineering College grounds. Lokesh inspected the venue and advised minimising public disruption. District Collector M.N. Harendhira Prasad confirmed comprehensive preparations, including assigning special officers and 26 parking zones for VVIPs, VIPs, and the public.

Lokesh emphasised the need for teamwork to surpass the success of the Vijayawada event.
