Lokesh supports TD worker in health crisis
Vijayawada:Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh has extended his help to a Telugu Desam activist and NTR admirer, Mallikarjun Reddy, who is currently facing some health issues.
A resident of Nellore, Mallikarjun Reddy is struggling with problems of acute diabetes and recurrent strokes.
Locally known for his charitable endeavours under the banner of the Nara Lokesh Seva Committee, Reddy has been an active member of the TD since its inception. A year ago, he had a stroke. After undergoing treatment, he experienced another stroke a month ago. He was admitted to Narayana Hospital in Nellore.
Doctors performed surgery, during which one of his legs was amputated.
TD leaders brought Reddy's dire situation to the attention of minister Nara Lokesh via social media, prompting an immediate response. Lokesh assured him that the party would provide assistance in all possible ways.
At Lokesh's initiative, urban development minister P Narayana reached out to inquire about Mallikarjun Reddy's condition through a video call. The minister promised to come and meet him in person soon. Mallikarjun Reddy expressed his gratitude to minister Lokesh for his quick response.
In another incident, a former student of the Nuziveedu Triple IT, Padmaja, thanked Lokesh for his help for a student of the Nuziveedu Triple IT. A first-year engineering student, Anusha Murapala from Srikakulam, experienced a sudden brain stroke and was rushed to a nearby hospital.
Some individuals brought the minister’s attention to her plight through the social media platform X and sought enhanced medical assistance for her. The minister quickly coordinated through his team to provide necessary medical care for Anusha to stabilize her condition.
