Mega camp for pensioners at Vishakhapatnam Port Trust on Nov 11

Vijayawada:The Department of Pension & Pensioners' Welfare (DoPPW) is organizing Nationwide DLC Campaign 3.0 in November 2024 to streamline the submission of life certificates for pensioners through Aadhaar-based Face Authentication technology. As part of this initiative, a Mega Camp will be held at the Vishakhapatnam Port Trust on November 11, aimed at assisting pensioners in submitting their life certificates using digital methods.

The nationwide campaign, running from November 1 to 30, 2024, will cover 800 locations across India, in collaboration with partners such as banks, India Post Payments Bank, Pensioners' Associations, UIDAI, and several government ministries.

In Andhra Pradesh, Union Bank of India (UBI) and IPPB are organizing various camps, including one at Vishakhapatnam Port Trust. Mrs. Manju Gupta, Assistant Director from DoPPW, will be present to assist pensioners in using digital modes to submit their life certificates and update their Aadhaar records, if necessary. Pensioners are encouraged to make use of the Mega Camp to streamline the certificate submission process and ensure continued benefits.
