Minister Demands Swift Action in Child Rape Case

Vijayawada: Information and public relations minister Kolusu Parthasarathy has strongly condemned the horrific sexual assault of a four-year-old girl in Pallerlamudi village of Nuzvid in Eluru district.

He has directed district officials to apprehend the culprit immediately.

Expressing deep concern over the incident, the minister instructed the Eluru collector and superintendent of police to deploy all necessary resources, including sniffer dogs, to track down the accused.

He emphasised the urgency of bringing the perpetrator to justice.The minister has assured the victim's family of all possible assistance and directed officials to provide immediate relief and medical care.

The child has been shifted to a hospital in Vijayawada for specialised treatment.

According to reports, the girl was abducted from her grandmother’s side around midnight on Sunday and taken to a nearby oil plantation where the heinous crime took place. She was later found by neighbours and reunited with her family.
