Minister Srinivas to Attend 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Events in Bhubaneswar

Vijayawada: Non-Resident Affairs Minister Kondapalli Srinivas will represent the state government at the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas events in Bhubaneswar on January 9 and 10.

The event will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Centre had sent an invitation to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who, however, deputed Srinivas for the events.

The Pravasi Bharatiya Divas aims to unite people of Indian origin residing in various countries around the globe and facilitates discussions on the issues faced by the Indian diaspora. Delegates from abroad would form the bulk of the participants.
