Tirupati: Endowments minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy declared that no one involved in wrongdoings in the preparation of Srivari laddu at Tirumala, regardless of their position, will be spared.

“Truth will be uncovered by the Special Investigation Team (SIT), which has been tasked with investigating the matter,” he said speaking to media outside the Tirumala temple after having darshan of Lord Venkateswara on Tuesday.

“Tirumala is a sacred pilgrimage site for Hindus around the world, where millions of devotees seek the Lord’s blessings. Any transgression at such a sacred place will not be tolerated. Those responsible will face the divine consequences,” the endowments minister remarked.

He said at present, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is using high-quality cow ghee for preparing laddus and Annaprasadam, refuting allegations that substandard ingredients are being used.

Ramanarayana Reddy revealed that the government’s focus is now on ensuring smooth conduct of the upcoming Brahmotsavams.

"We are paying special attention to the sanctity of rituals. We are working closely with Agama experts to maintain the highest standards of purity. From Annaprasadam to laddu, every offering meets the strict standards of cleanliness and quality,” he maintained.

Ramanarayana Reddy said as part of the Brahmotsavams, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will present silk robes to Lord Venkateswara on behalf of the state government on October 4.
