Minor earthquakes shake Prakasam district

Hyderabad: Residents of Shankarapuram, Polavaram, and Pasugugally in Prasasam district experienced a series of minor earthquakes today. Tremors were also felt in neighbouring areas, including Mundlamuru, Vemmpadu, Marella, and Turpukambhampadu.
The shaking caused some panic, particularly in Mundlamuru where students evacuated their school as a precautionary measure. Government employees in the affected areas also briefly left their offices for safety.
While no significant damage or injuries have been reported, this incident serves as a reminder of the importance of earthquake preparedness in regions prone to seismic activity.
