Visakhapatnam: BJP’s state unit vice-president Vishnu Kumar Raju said he would strongly oppose any move of the YSRC to merge it into the BJP.

In a media interaction on Monday, Vishnu Kumar said it would be a self-destructive move for the saffron outfit.

The MLA alleged that former chief minister and YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has a lot of money stashed away in Bengaluru which is why he is seen travelling to that city very often.

“Lakhs of crores of rupees are kept in his Bengaluru palace. What are investigating agencies CBI, CID, and ACB doing? They must monitor Jagan Mohan Reddy’stravel,” he said.

He said no one imagined Jagan Mohan Reddy's party would come down from 151 to 11 seats. In the next election, it will be further reduced to five seats.

He said if YSRC gets the Opposition party status, then the BJP also deserves a similar a status.
