Vijayawada: Minister Nimmala Rama Naidu has said the volunteer system has not been abolished in the state and volunteers were temporarily removed from duty during the election.

“They received honorarium from the government. Soon, the government will conduct a review of this system and we shall use them for public service,” he said.
“They are trying to provide pensions at homes of the beneficiaries. All our promises will be fulfilled one by one and White papers will be released department-wise,” he said.
After taking oath as ministers, Rama Naidu, Dola Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy and S. Savita had their first media interactions on Thursday.
Nimmala said Jagan Mohan Reddy acted sadistically by cancelling the Anna canteens. CM Chandrababu signed files on Thursday to start it again. The CM has also signed the Skill Census file as part of the process of providing employment to youths, he said.
“We will continue with the system of village volunteers. Some have resigned and we will review the system soon and carry it on but without weakening the local organisations due to the secretariat system,” he said.
He said that the secretariat system will be linked with local organisations. Minister Dola Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy said Chandrababu put his signatures on five important files. Minister Savitha said Chandrababu would turn AP into a golden Andhra.
