Naidu Says Ruins of Praja Vedika Will Remain as Is
Vijayawada: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday said demolition of the Praja Vedika is a classic example of the destructive YSR Congress rule. He made it clear that the ruins of this building will not be removed.
Chatting with media persons at the TD central office in Amaravati, Naidu said the ruins of Praja Vedika will be retained as they are. They will stand as an example of the destructive role played by the YSRC government.
The CM said his government will accord the highest priority to the common man. He said there will be no restrictions imposed when he goes among people.
Chandrababu said he is formulating a plan to personally receive appeals from people, thus providing them an opportunity to explain their problems in person to him. He said there is a need for a platform, where such meetings can take place.
“Had there been the Praja Vedika, there would have been no need to rethink about this issue. But the previous government has demolished the Praja Vedika,” he pointed out.
