AP CM Chandrababu Naidu to visit Kuppam for two-day tour

Tirupati: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is set to visit Kuppam on January 6 for a two-day programme in his constituency. During the visit, he will participate in a series of development activities, laying foundation stones and inaugurating projects aimed at boosting local infrastructure and the economy.

Chittoor district collector Sumit Kumar has directed officials to ensure flawless arrangements for the upcoming visit of the Chief Minister. A preparatory meeting was held on Friday at the Kuppam MPDO office conference hall, chaired by the Collector, along with District SP Manikantha Chandolu, to discuss the arrangements in detail.
According to the collector, on January 6, Naidu will arrive at the Dravidian University campus helipad by helicopter. He will unveil the Vision Document at the university and later interact with women at Agaram Kothapalli, before holding discussions with natural farming practitioners at Seegalapalle. He will also inaugurate the solar power scheme at Nadumuru in Kuppam Rural Mandal and attend a party meeting at the University before staying overnight at the R&B Guest House.
On January 7, Naidu will participate in a public grievance collection at the TDP office premises, unveil a statue of the late P.R. Shyamanna at Kangundi, and inaugurate and lay foundation stones for various development projects at NTR Stadium. The visit will conclude with a review meeting with district officials at Dravidian University, after which the Chief Minister will return via the helipad on January 8.
Sumit Kumar instructed the officials to ensure all departmental responsibilities are carried out efficiently. He stressed the importance of proper sanitation, medical camp setups, and uninterrupted power supply. The R&B department has been tasked with erecting barricades and preparing precise route maps for the Chief Minister’s travel. Additionally, the Chief Planning Officer was directed to prepare a comprehensive district progress report.
