KAKINADA: A minor incident occurred during a public meeting in N.N. Patnam village, Rowthulapudi mandal, where labour minister Vasamsetty Subhash and Prathipadu MLA Varupula Satya Prabha escaped unharmed.
While speaking at the event to unveil a statue of the late Dommeti Venkata Reddy, a slight tilt in one of the dais benches nearly caused a fall. Alert security personnel quickly prevented any accidents, and both representatives remained uninjured.
Following the incident, minister Subhash urged the BC community and marginalised groups to focus on education for a brighter future, highlighting the sacrifices made by leaders like Venkata Reddy in the fight for rights.
