NEET girl student dies at Sri Chaitanya College in Penamaluru

Vijayawada: An 18-year-old girl student taking long-term coaching for NEET at Sri Chaitanya College on the Tadigadapa Saraswati Bhavan campus died during the early hours of Wednesday, police said.

The student has been identified as Ramisetty Ganga Bhuvaneswari (18), a native of Uppada in East Godavari district.
Penamaluru circle inspector T.V.V. Rama Rao said their preliminary investigation revealed that Bhuvaneswari had complained of uneasiness during study hours on Tuesday evening. She went to the college's sick room, where she experienced symptoms of nausea and blood vomiting. She informed her hostel roommates about her health condition that night.
“Around 3 a.m. on Wednesday, Bhuvaneswari complained of severe headache. Her roommates saw her vomiting blood. They alerted the college management immediately, who shifted her to Kamineni Hospital. On arrival, doctors examined and pronounced her died,” the circle inspector told Deccan Chronicle.
According to reports, Bhuvaneswari’s father fainted upon hearing the news of his daughter’s death.
CI Rama Rao said they will register a case if the victim’s parents file a complaint.
ABVP leader Gopi has demanded that the government hold detailed inspections of Sri Chaitanya and Narayana junior colleges to ensure that they are adhering to protocols and prioritising student well-being.
