New ICAI Study Circle Opens in Vijayawada
Vijayawada: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) inaugurated its 351st Study Circle at the Ramanagar CPE study circle, in Vijayawada on Tuesday. ICAI president CA Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal officially opened the study circle at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram.
Agarwal stated that the new study circle will provide CA students with access to IT and orientation courses, management and communication skills training, live virtual classes, and CPE seminars.
Reflecting on ICAI’s 75-year history, Agarwal noted the institute has grown from 1,600 CAs to over 400,000 CAs and nine lakh students, with 178 branches and 350 study circles nationwide. He also announced plans to open a new branch in Amaravati and establish a Centre of Excellence if membership exceeds 200.
