Vijayawada:Ministers Kolusu Parthasarathy and Kollu Ravindra announced that the NTR Bharosa pensions, distributed under the "Pedala Sevalo" programme, will be given out a day earlier on August 31 instead of September 1. This decision was made to account for the upcoming Sunday, September 1, which is a holiday for government employees, and was approved in a Cabinet meeting.

The ministers stated that the early distribution aims to ensure timely and uninterrupted access to these benefits for the beneficiaries.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will participate in the pension distribution programme on Saturday at Puchakayalamada village in Pathikonda mandal, Kurnool district.

Meanwhile, officials have stated that if any recipient is unable to receive their pension on August 31 due to unavailability in their village, arrangements have been made to distribute the funds on September 2.
