Pawan Kalyan to launch Prayaschitta Deeksha in Nambur today
As part of atonement for adulteration of the Srivari laddu, the deputy CM would observe 11-days Deeksha
Guntur: After suggesting that Sanatana Dharma Rakshana Board should be set up to safeguard and conserve the principles of Santana Dharma, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan said he would take up Prayaschitta Deeksha at the Sri Dasavatara Venkateswara Swamy temple in Nambur, Guntur district on September 22.
He said he would observe the Deeksha for 11 days and conclude it by visiting the Tirumala Srivari temple. The sacrilegious act of preparing the holy Tirupati laddus with sub-standard ghee has hurt the sentiments of Hindu devotee and also kicked up a storm in the society.
Pawan Kalyan sought mercy of the Lord Balaji saying "Yedukondalavada ... Kshaminchu" for making the premises of his temple unholy by mixing animal fat in the sacred sweet prasadam of the Lord.
"This only displays the dastardly nature of the previous government leaders," he said.
He said that his heart bled on knowing about the mixing of the animal remnants in the sacred laddu and would take up the Deeksha as an atonement act. He said that the Prayaschittam was necessary to restore the piousness of the temple and its premises.
He faulted the YCP leaders for their corrupted behavior and immoral mentality even in the service of the Lord.
