Red Cross Reaches Slum Dwellers Affected by Heavy Rains

Vijayawada:Following heavy rainfall across the state, the AP State Branch of the Indian Red Cross Society has deployed volunteers to assist affected slum dwellers in Vijayawada. They have distributed biscuits, milk, bread, and tarpaulins.

Chairman of AP Red Cross Dr A. Sridhar Reddy led the team to provide relief materials in the slums around Autonagar and promised to organise a medical camp. He also urged all district Red Cross branches to assist those in need.

AP State Coordinator of Red Cross B.V.S. Kumar coordinated the relief efforts with local NGOs.
