Revenue Spl Principal Secretary Examine Land Records in Vizianagaram

Visakhapatnam: Special principal secretary of the state revenue department R.P. Sisodia, conducted a comprehensive tour of Vizianagaram district on Friday to assess field conditions. He visited Bhogapuram, S. Kota, and Vepada mandals to examine land records, uncovering discrepancies in land classifications across various government departments.

Meetings were held with Revenue Divisional Officers (RDOs), Tehsildars, and Sub-Registrars at the district centre to address issues such as 22A category lands, registration of freehold lands, post-land resurvey situations, and land identification for house construction. Sisodia provided essential instructions to ensure the accurate registration of land records, emphasising the role of Tehsildar and Registrar offices.

The district collector, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Joint Collector Sethumadhavan, and other officials accompanied him on the tour.
