Rural Ankura Yatra to Connect Startups and Investors in AP
Vijayawada: Union minister of state for rural development Dr Pemmasani Chandrasekhar launched the Ankura Yatra initiative by the International Startup Foundation at Vaddeswaram KL University in Tadepalli mandal on Saturday.
Scheduled from September 30 to October 3, the Rural Ankura Yatra will provide a platform for startup founders, investors, and mentors to collaborate on innovative projects. Chandrasekhar highlighted that this unique bus journey is the first of its kind globally and aims to transform rural India by creating local job opportunities and promoting start-up enterprises.
Dr. JA Chowdary, chairperson and convenor of Ankura Yatra, noted that the pilot phase will cover key locations in Andhra Pradesh, including Vizag, Rajam, Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Amaravathi, Kuppam, Tirupati, Anantapur, Kadapa, and Kurnool. KLU Chancellor Koneru Sathyanarayana also participated in the event.
