SC to hear DA case against Jagan on December 2
Vijayawada: Supreme Court of India will hear the disproportionate assets (DA) case involving former chief minister and YSR Congress president Jagan Mohan Reddy in New Delhi on December 2. Former MP and Undi MLA K. Raghu Rama Krishna Raju had filed two petitions, one asking cancellation of the bail granted to Jagan Mohan Reddy in the DA case and another to transfer hearings of the case from Hyderabad in Telangana to another state. When the case came up for hearing on Tuesday, Chief Justice Sanjay Khanna, who had been a part of the earlier CJI-led bench, directed the registry to transfer the case for hearing to another bench.
Accordingly, Justice Abhay S. Oka will hear the DA case against Jagan Mohan Reddy and also the two petitions filed by Krishna Raju on December 2.
