ANANTAPUR: In an ongoing controversy surrounding posts made on social media by YSRC activists against TD and JS leaders, the Pulivendula police have filed an SC/ST atrocity case against Sajjala Bhargav Reddy, the son of senior YSRC leader Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy. The case was registered following a complaint by Hari, a resident of Simhadripuram mandal in the Pulivendula Assembly segment of Kadapa district.

Hari accused Bhargav Reddy, YSRC social media organiser Arjun Reddy, and social activist Varra Ravindra Reddy of abusing him on social media based on his caste. Hari had previously pointed out derogatory posts by YSRC supporters targeting TD and JSP leaders and their families over the past five years. Based on Hari’s complaint, the Pulivendula police registered an SC/ST atrocity case against the three individuals. The case has been filed under non-bailable sections, and investigations are ongoing.
