Show cause notice issued to YSRCP to stop party office construction work in Visakhapatnam
Visakhapatnam: The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) issued a show cause notice to YSRCP asking it to immediately stop construction work related to the party office at Yendada village in Visakhapatnam.
The party is constructing the party office in two cents at Yendada village. In the notice, GVMC, Zone-II, Town Planning Officer S Varaprasada Rao said that it has come to the notice that an application for building permission was applied with the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) instead of applying and obtaining permission from the GVMC as the site comes in its limits.
Further, it was observed that the file related to the application was under scrutiny at VMRDA but unauthorized construction of RCC ground building and first floor nearly to the extent of two cents was continued, prompting the corporation to issue a show cause.
A reply was also sought in writing by an authorized agent from the party within seven days from the date of receipt of the notice failing which further action will be taken as per due proçedure.
