SRM University seeks expansion, meets with AP CM

Vijayawada: SRM University AP leadership, led by founder Chancellor Dr T.R. Paarivendhar and Pro-Chancellor Dr P. Sathyanarayanan, met with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday to discuss the university’s expansion plans in Amaravati.
The delegation briefed the Chief Minister on the university’s progress and outlined their vision for future growth, which includes a focus on emerging fields like Artificial Intelligence and industry-led curriculum.
Dr Sathyanarayanan emphasised the need for additional land to accommodate the university’s expansion plans.
Chief Minister Naidu expressed his support for SRM University AP’s initiatives and assured the delegation of the state government’s full cooperation in achieving their goals.
Also present at the meeting were SRM AP Vice-Chancellor Professor Manoj K. Arora, executive director Professor D Narayana Rao, and Registrar Dr Premkumar.
