Standing committee approves 6 resolutions

Kurnool: City Mayor B.Y. Ramaiah chaired the standing committee meeting held at the Municipal Corporation office on Saturday. Out of eight proposed resolutions, six were approved, and two were postponed.

The approved resolutions included a Rs 1.47 crore budget for sewer construction in wards 23, 24, 12, and 2, and leasing three parking spaces in various areas for three years via an open auction.
The committee also decided to revise fees at the flower market near Kondareddy Buruju, which had remained unchanged for 12 years. Additionally, it aimed to boost municipal revenue by reviewing and restructuring fees for shops in the market.
Municipal commissioner S. Ravindra Babu, members, and officials attended the meeting.
