TG NPDCL Bags Four IPPAI Awards

Warangal: The Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (TGNPDCL) has won four prestigious awards from the Independent Power Producers Association of India (IPPAI) at the 25th Regulatory Makers Retreat held in Belgaum, Karnataka.

The awards, received by CGM operations K. Raju Chauhan, were presented to chairman and managing director Karnati Varun Reddy at the NPDCL office in Hanamkonda on Wednesday.

The accolades included recognition for outstanding achievement as the Best Performing Distribution Company, advancements in Distributed Solar Generation, installation of 2/1 MVAR Capacitor Banks and 600 KVAR capacitors, and the adoption of IRDA GPRS-Enabled Integrated Spot Billing.

CMD Varun Reddy highlighted the company’s success in enhancing power supply, reducing distribution losses, and promoting solar energy with increased rooftop installations. TGNPDCL’s efforts in improving power factor through capacitor bank installations and leveraging advanced billing technologies were also acknowledged.
