Thick Fog Delays Flights at Visakhapatnam Airport

 Visakhapatnam: Many flights at Visakhapatnam Airport were delayed on Saturday because of thick fog. Passengers faced inconvenience due to it.

IndiGo flight 6E217/218 from Bengaluru to Visakhapatnam was delayed by an hour, adjusting its scheduled arrival time from 7.10 am to 8.10 am. Similarly, Air India flight AI485 from Delhi to Visakhapatnam was delayed by an hour, it arrived here at 8.45 am instead of the scheduled time of 7.45 am.

Furthermore, IndiGo flight 6E618/6E307 from Hyderabad to Visakhapatnam was delayed by an hour and 25 minutes, arriving at 8.25 am instead of the scheduled time of 7 am. Additionally, another IndiGo flight 6E557/6E845 from Chennai to Visakhapatnam experienced a delay of 45 minutes. It arrived here at 8.30 am instead of the scheduled time of 7.45 am.

Moreover, IndiGo flight 6E5345 from Delhi to Visakhapatnam was delayed by 25 minutes and arrived at 8.35 am.

Raja Reddy, the airport director, attributed these delays to the dense fog in the area, which significantly reduced visibility in the early hours. He advised passengers to check for updates from their respective airlines regarding schedule changes.
