Threatening calls case against Pawan Kalyan: Accused held
Amravati: The case of threatening calls to the office of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has caused a stir. An unidentified person threatened to kill Pawan Kalyan, sending threatening phone calls and messages with offensive language to his office, prompting the AP government to take notice.
The police have made progress in the investigation, identifying the suspect based on the phone calls. The individual responsible for the threats, identified as Nuka Mallikarjun, was arrested. Police have noted that Mallikarjun has mental health issues and made the calls while under the influence of alcohol. He is currently being interrogated by Vijayawada police. Previously, a case under Section 354 was registered against Mallikarjun in Visakhapatnam.
