KAKINADA: Tiger movement was found at the reserve forest area in Buradakota Hills in Prathipadu mandal. A farmer of Bapannadara village informed the forest department officials that his calf was eaten by a tiger on December 7. The pugmarks were confirmed as those of the tiger. District forest officer D. Ravindranath Reddy said after receiving the information from the farmer, they had set up four trap cameras in the area, and the tiger did not appear in the cameras on December 8 and 9.
The DFO said the tiger may have come to the Eleswaram reserve forest area from the Rajavommangi forest area.
