TTD invites experts to draft Tirumala Vision 2047 document

Tirupati: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced formulation of a Tirumala Vision 2047 document aligning with the ambitious Swarna Andhra Vision 2047.
The devasthanam has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP), inviting experienced agencies to contribute their expertise for planned development, heritage preservation and environmental sustainability of the sacred Tirumala hill town.
The TTD Board recently approved this initiative, underscoring the need for a comprehensive approach that balances spiritual sanctity with modern urban needs.

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has already emphasised the importance of preserving Tirumala’s cultural and religious heritage while incorporating sustainable and contemporary design principles to enhance pilgrims’ experience. His vision focuses on ensuring simplicity, elegance and ecological responsibility in all aspects of Tirumala’s development.
Tirumala Vision 2047 document seeks to outline a long-term development strategy that respects the spiritual essence of Tirumala, while addressing the needs of millions of devotees who visit the sacred site each year.
TTD’s objectives include upgrading pilgrim facilities, enhancing infrastructure, and conserving the town’s architectural and cultural ethos. At the same time, the plan aims to integrate environmental management practices to ensure sustainability and ecological harmony for future generations.
In its RFP, the devasthanam has called for proposals from reputed consultants with expertise in urban planning, architecture, environmental management and heritage conservation. The scope of work involves preparing a comprehensive development plan, revising the Zonal Development Plan to meet the present and future needs, and creating actionable strategies for priority infrastructure projects.
