Two youths killed in bike accident on NH-16

The victims have been identified as G. Praveen Kumar, 20, from Seethampeta, and D. Prasanth from Dondaparthi. Another youth, Mahesh from Kapparada, was seriously injured and remains in critical condition.

According to police reports, the three youths were riding a motorcycle from Urvasi Junction towards Thatichetlapalem when the accident occurred. The bike is believed to have skidded, resulting in the fatal collision.

The impact caused severe injuries to the two deceased youths’ chests and heads, leading to their immediate deaths.

Passersby alerted authorities, and an ambulance arrived at the scene to provide first aid to the injured youth before transporting him to the hospital. The bodies of the deceased were taken to King George Hospital (KGH) for a post-mortem examination. Kancharapalem police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
