UP Government Lalitha Kala Akademi Award to AP Photographer

Vijayawada:Tamma Srinivasa Reddy, a photographer from Andhra Pradesh, has been honoured with the Uttar Pradesh Government's Lalitha Kala Akademi Award for 2024.

The UP government has recognised five artists nationwide for this prestigious award, announced in a statement on Friday.

Srinivasa Reddy received the accolade for his documentary on "Theyyam," a traditional dance form from Kerala that embodies India's rich culture, traditions, and arts.

The award presentation will take place in Lucknow on September 27.
