VIJAYAWADA: Indian Red Cross Society, AP state branch, which has been rescuing people and helping them with food and water, is now concentrating on the medical camps. AP state coordinator B.V.S. Kumar said that during a brief relief from the rainfall and a little receding of flood water, the people were more vulnerable to viral fevers and infections.

He said they are organising four medical camps in flood-affected areas today at Sitara Junction, Kabela and Ajith Singhnagar by roping in the medical and paramedical staff of the neighbouring district branches.
